FullViewCrew has been dormant for a while; jumped off the tracks and right off into the trees...The two original administrators have apparently been very busy in their real lives, which leaves me, (=Zethara) to get us headed back in the right direction.

First thing I noticed when I logged in...was the number of favs on the account....Ugh..we do not want pieces favorited here...Because it is so difficult for people to remember, I am changing the format in which I submit work from our artists. In order to see the full view, people will have to click on the link to the original artwork...I will be uploading them at a smaller size.

PLEASE remember to go to the original artwork when you want to add a piece to your favorites!! We're seeing a lot of :+fav:s here on the submissions that do not belong with us...The artist members are the ones who deserve these gold stars! It is sometimes a kneejerk reaction to pounce on the "add to favs" button, but please, even if you've accidentally hit that :+fav: on the fullviewcrew submission remember to run over to the original and do it there! Also, if you're not heading to the artist submissions, you're missing interesting details in their description boxes as well!

Our member list can now be found in the Shoutboard! What a great number of flashy avatars we all have! :dance:

Deviants who wish to join the club: Please send a note with the word "Join" in the subject. We will not add new members who try to join with comments in the journal or on the front page. We want you here! Just be sure to send a note!

    I like the idea of this club. I may join.

    I tend to view any art that captures my interest with a full view, despite slow loading of DA on my computer. Also, every piece that I Favorite, I full view before doing so.

    It's just.. the way things are meant to be seen.

    MY FUNNY VALENTINE CONTEST :date:
    For our next project, I am inviting my fellow treehousemates and friends of the treehouse to join our FUNNY VALENTINE CONTEST. What makes a FUNNY VALENTINE for you? What does one have to be in order to be referred to as "MY FUNNY VALENTINE"? Tell us what you think is a funny valentine for you. Send us a photo, a drawing, a poem or a short story that depicts your interpretation of a FUNNY VALENTINE.
    Deadline of Entries is on February 14 itself. :gallery:

    MY FUNNY VALENTINE CONTEST :thumbsup: anyone interested to sponsor this contest can send a note to the ~treehousesociety.

    Rules

    MY FUNNY VALENTINE CONTEST 2006 :date:
    Entries will be accepted until February 14, 2006 - GMT +8 (Manila, Singapore, KL, Beijing)

    Judging will begin right after the deadline and a winner (and honorable mentions) will be announced a week after

    RULES

    1. This contest is open to all members and non-members of the treehousesociety.

    Through photography, drawing, a poem or a short story or any other artform, participants are to interpret what MY FUNNY VALENTINE means for them. A Funny Valentine may pertain to a person or a scene associated with the Day of Hearts.

    2. Entries must be submitted by the entrant to his/her gallery first. To send an entry, a participant need only to send us a note with the subject FUNNY VALENTINE containing the link to the submitted piece.

    3. A participant can send multple entries. Send the link to your entries through a note!

    4. The Treehouse Official CRITICS will act as JUDGES for this contest. However, any CRITIC who has submitted an entry to the contest will forfeit his or her chance to vote during judging time.

    5. The Top Three Winners of this contest will be featured in the TREEHOUSE GALLERY.

    There is no limitation in form or style. Original interpretations are highly recommended. Entries submitted as PHOTOS or DRAWINGS or PAINTINGS must bear a short description about the said piece.

    The hunt for MY FUNNY VALENTINE begins January 9, 2006!
